JP Egolf began private piano lessons at age seven and began teaching at only thirteen, apprenticing under her own piano teacher. Since then she has taught a variety of students a variety of instruments, including guitar, piano, voice, and ukulele.
She began writing her own music at age 12 and since then has pursued a career in the arts, including attending the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music as an honors student and booking various gigs around the Columbus area.
JP’s passion for teaching comes from wanting to share the experience she had with music as a child, helping kids balance invaluable technical skills with their own artistic goals and desires. JP teaches a variety of styles and tailors each student’s learning experience to both help them learn the fundamentals of music, and have as much fun with music as they can!
