Faheem Najieb hails from the great city of Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Cleveland School of the Arts from grades 6-12 where he majored in instrumental music. After graduating, Faheem attended The Ohio State University where he studied in Music Performance (Jazz Studies) and Music Education with a focus on woodwind performance and education. Upon graduating in the spring of 2015, Faheem accepted a full time teaching position with the Columbus City School District where he is currently the Instrumental Music Director of Mifflin Middle School and Assistant Marching Band Director at Mifflin High School.
While teaching full time and performing in several groups in the Columbus area, he has strived for a balanced load of educating (classroom and 1 on 1 lessons), performing and composing music. In his brief 25 years, he plans to hone his performance as well as teaching skills in a way that will positively affect those he comes across and aid to build a productive and healthy lifestyle.
