Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Faheem Najieb is a professional saxophonist and educator.  Faheem studied at Ohio State University and following graduation in 2015 with degrees in Jazz Studies and Music Education. He then accepted a full-time teaching position in Columbus City Schools at Mifflin Middle School as a band & strings director (2015-2020).  From 2020-2022 he pursued a Master of Music degree (Jazz Studies) at Michigan State University in East Lansing.  Faheem currently teaches at Eastmoor Academy in Columbus.  He enjoys a balanced and busy career as a band leader/freelance saxophonist, educating at the high school level, private lesson studios, and community outreach programs in the greater Ohio area.
