Anthony Jackson is a saxophonist, private music instructor, and band leader. He is the leader and co-founder of Blue Avenue as well as the The Reflections Project. Anthony has been playing on the Columbus music scene professionally for over 10 years. He is the saxophonist for fo/mo/deep, led by bassist Ron Homes. Last year with fo/mo/deep, he was fortunate to open for 4-time Grammy Award Winning Artist Robert Glasper at The Jazz and Rib Fest. He loves to play and is enjoying the experience of growing through the bands he both leads and is affiliated with.
Anthony’s teaching vision is to share music that will encourage, influence and inspire everyone it reaches. He believes every note is sacred. When he performs, he aims to provide a transformative experience every show. He aims to do the same when he teaches by providing a targeted and individualized approach to each student. Anthony is thankful for the God-given gift of music, and takes great pleasure in sharing that gift, both in performing and in teaching.
