In the ultra fast-paced world we live in, making time for all of the things that we need to do can be hard, let alone all the things that we want to do! GnG Music Instruction can take one of the many errands you have to run off of your plate for you by having one of our amazing and talented instructors come right to your door! It is really that easy.
The New Albany studio location is our pride and joy. We have built a creative, inspiring, and fun space for our community to learn, play, and connect with each other. Many of our parents enjoy coming into the studio because it truly is an environment designed to bring the musician out in our students. There are other students learning to play all types of different instruments. Our aspiring musicians get to see and hear all the wonderful things that music has to offer.
Come make some music with us!
Greg started out teaching guitar lessons in his own home and the homes of his students. After a very short time, Greg had more students than he could handle and so he brought a friend on to help with the student load. Eventually, they began to be asked about instruments they did not teach. Because Greg had played professionally around Columbus for many years, he knew a lot of other musicians who were ready to teach. And so, GnG Music Instruction began.
Beyond managing GnG Music Instruction, Greg works as a small business consultant, an event coordinator for several charities, and has 3 beautiful children that he spends as much time with as possible. Music, and specifically the teaching of music, is Greg’s first passion. Although he is solely on the management side of things now, he still enjoys regularly discussing lesson plans and individual students with the instructors, hosting the company’s recitals, and developing the staff.
Courtney has been a private and group instructor with GnG Music Instruction for the past three years. During that time, she has used her skills to teach multiple instruments in a variety of styles and genres. In the studio, not only has Courtney taught private lessons, she has been the instructor of several guitar, percussion, and sampler classes. She has also taught various music courses at Moler Elementary, Champion Middle School, and Columbus Collegiate Academy.
In addition to her work in the classroom, Courtney is responsible for managing and overseeing all school programs, including lesson planning and assigning curriculum. Courtney is excited to bring her versatility to GnG’s team of directors and continue to develop the company’s educational goals and programs.
