Nikki Germann

Nikki has been studying piano since the age of 3 1/2. She began lessons at Capital University’s Community Music School, learning Suzuki piano with Mary Craig Powell and continued with Mrs. Powell through high school graduation. Nikki then furthered her education at Otterbein University, studying Music Education and Piano Performance. Throughout the years, Nikki had the opportunity to become very involved in church music and accompaniment because of her mother’s extensive choral work at Brookwood Presbyterian Church and Columbus City Schools. Over the 17 years that Nikki accompanied the Independence High School Concert Choir, they received numerous awards, including awards at Walt Disney World, Heritage Music Festivals Chicago, 2 invitations to the New York City Choir festival held at Carnage Hall, and an invitation (and gold star rating) to the Inauguration Choir Festival in January 2009 located in Washington DC. Nikki has been teaching piano for 20 years and enjoys every minute of it. Giving  someone the gift of music is a very satisfying feeling and having the opportunity to work with an abundance of wonderful people ensures that the passion will strive to live on in all of us. ‘Hey, if I’m not having fun, than you’re not having fun, so let’s have fun and make music together!”
